start of something new

New lessons again. It's the start of another grading period. I learned something new again. I learned how to put a color as the background of my exercise 1 on html. Of course I choose and put my favorite color as background. I also learned how to put a picture as background of my exercise 1 again.

We can not avoid some errors especially when we are first timers. Nothing is easy at first. On putting a color as background, it was easy for me. On putting a picture as background, at first nothing appeared on the screen. I did not know what to do next so I ask the assistance of my classmate.

I followed the instructions written on the board but I missed one step. I did not read it carefully. With the help of my classmate, he taught me what the right thing to do. I tried again for the second time and it was sucessful.

Next time I will be careful on reading and following instructions to avoid mistakes.

Sem'break

After our busy school days, we had the chance to have our semestrial break or school break. Free from assignments,projects, lectures or discussions, and etc.

During our sem' break I had the chance to stay at my room and take some rest, watching television, texting, listening to the radio. No need to wake up early. My friends and I went out to some places to enjoy. We watched movies. That time i had enough time also to be with my relatives. Before all saints day, we went to the cemetery to clean the tomb of my grandfather. And last november 1, we went to the cemetery to visit and offer prayers for my grandfather who has passed away a year ago.

I enjoyed my one week vacation being with my friends and my family. And now, go back to school again. Recharged and ready for the next grading periods.

not ignorant anymore ..

I have learned much about html this time even if it is still the introduction. I learned how to create html file. That was also my first time to use the notepad. I learned about the tags and their descriptions.
I was slow in typing because of those tags and as I said, that was first time to use the notepad. At first, I don't know what those tags are for. It's ignorance.
I just continued typing, I just followed the instructions given by our teacher and typed all the letters and signs that are in our handout. Through our handouts given by our teacher containing informations about html, now I know what are those tags and their uses. Now, I am not an ignorant anymore about html.
I will study further about html and I am excited for what our teacher will teach us in the next meetings.

For the first time....

After climbing radar, now I know how difficult mountain climbing is as mountaineers do. That experience was so tiresome but great. I learned that daily exercise is important so that when there are activities, you'll not experience fatigue. I also discovered how beautiful our nature is.
While I am on our way up, I was slipped three times. It was hard climbing because the path was rocky, big rocks are on the way, it was some what slippery and also steep. I thought I'll not reach the peak because my legs was already painful when we are still on the middle of our journey.
Instead of surrendering, I continued climbing, it was a challenge for me. I really want to reach the peak, i want to prove that I am strong. With the help of my companions or my friends, my tiredness was lessened because we are chatting, someone will sing or will tell a joke. The beautiful and amazing view of the place also encourage me to continue.
I will help on taking care of our nature because it is really beautiful. Its like a paradise. The air was so cool. Maybe if there will be another chance to climb a mountain I will again dare to do the challenge.

A test for my best..

The more we are relax, the more correct answers we can write on our answer sheet, the higher the scores we can get. Avoid reviewing the night or an hour before the test to avoid mental block. This are some of the learnings I learned and proved during our first periodical test and so with National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE).
Not clear instructions, forgotten formulas, dates and some details or informations, incomplete instructions, questions and sentences and most especially lack of time. This are some of my problems during the periodical test and NCAE. I also find it difficult in answering non-verbal ability in the NCAE and in the parts with math problems.
I just tried my best to answer those problems or questions and those that I really don't know, I just guessed the answers. I also listened when our teacher explained the instructions that are not clear.
The two examinations we have undergone were such important for us. On the next grading periods I will study harder, I will scan my notes every night so that I will be always ready for any examinations.

Outside ICT

Everyday I learn and experience new things. I always enjoy and learn when we perform activities, trainings and during lectures. I have encountered new theories, formulas, lessons about life and good moral values since the first day of school.
There are also problems that I have encountered. Sometimes I can not easily memorized and understand some of the formulas and important details. There are things that I can not follow and can not do. Another is, I don't have enough time to make those homeworks sometimes.
Every problem, there is always a solution. I try to memorize, follow, understand and finish the things that should be done. There is always time for everything.
Moving on I will do my best to learn and discover more. I will be more attentive and participate in class. More experiences to be experienced and more learnings to be learned. And these learnings will be a big help for me in the future.

New Learnings on ICT IV

In ICT IV I learned about the internet's history. I also learned about its uses, Internet services and tools, web browser, web server, etc. i also learned about websites. I also created my own account in yahoo mail and blog. There are so many steps in creating an account.
When I created my account on yahoo, it is not that easy to register, likewise on creating a blog. I was not able to register easily because the password or the e-mail address that I want to use is not available.
I was able to overcome these challenges with the help of my teacher and my groupmates. I tried and tried until I have registered and have my own account. My groupmates were not also able to create their own account that easy but after all, we were able to overcome those petty problems.
Moving own I will listen to my teacher attentively so that i will learn more. In some other way i know that this new learnings of mine will have a big use to me in the future.
